Need a dish to take to a family gathering?  Bermudaonion has posted a Vegetable Casserole today.  What about some holiday treats?  Holly at Brimstone Soup has Orange Vanilla Caramels, Masala Chai, and Olivia’s Sugar Cookies.

Do you have a cookie maker in your life?  Check out the book that Franki over at A Year of Reading just bought.

Get a Santa coloring page for the kiddos to work on while you cook, finish wrapping, or just to pass the time until Santa comes, from Elizabeth at Dulemba.com.

Friday was like Christmas around here.  I received 2 packages at school, the set of Anne of Green Gables that I won from Donna at Bookworms Dinner Children and the Christmas package from Hatchette.  Then, when I got home, I had more: books to review from the Picnic Basket and my Secret Santa present.   I was SO excited!  Here is what I got…

…two books, which I haven’t read and can’t wait to dig into, a cute notebook, a puzzle book, and a cute Peanuts Christmas card.  Woohoo!  Who was the Secret Santa?  It was, Annie Frisbie, writer and producer.  I was not familiar with her blog, but will be adding it to my list.
