Do You Hear What I Hear? It’s a Giveaway!

Posted by shelburns on December 8, 2008

What a way to start off my week!  I have just found out that I am going to be receiving 2 audiobooks for review.   Hatchette Books is sending me copies of 100 Ways to Simplify Your Life and Outliers.  They are also going to send 2 of my readers one of those titles.  Which one would you choose?  Please tell me which one you would like and why in the comments.  I will run this contest through next Sunday, Dec. 14 and draw a winner on Monday, Dec. 15.  The winners will be emailed and posted on this blog on Monday.  You will have 2 days to get your mailing address to me so that I can forward it on to the folks at Hatchette.   Here is some information about each book so that you can make an informed choice!

Joyce Meyer breaks it down to the simple principle of exercising faith rather than doubt and confidence rather than people-pleasing. She writes from her experience of struggling to balance work, family, friends, and all the other demands on limited time to show readers the simple answer to a simpler life.

In this stunning new audiobook, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of “outliers”–the best and the brightest, the most famous and the most successful. Brilliant and entertaining, OUTLIERS is a landmark work that will simultaneously delight and illuminate.

How can you earn extra entries:

  • Follow my blog through RSS feed, a reader, etc. – 1 entry
  • Blog about this giveaway – 2 entries
  • Send someone my way and have them say they were told by you – 2 entries

You could earn a total of 6 entries!  Since these will be shipped by the publisher, the contest is open to US and Canada ONLY.  Please NO P.O. boxes.  Good luck!

I would love to win Joyce Meyer’s book! I have read several of her books and watch her on TV when I get the chance. I think this book would have a bigger impact on me in audio format than written, for I can just hear her telling me to get off my lazy duff and ____, whereas if I were to read that, I’d probably shut the book….problem about those self help books….you know you “need” the help yet hard to diguest!
    Thanks so much,
    Darby
